cry$cross (Crystal Simone) is a New York–born experimental artist, DJ, and cultural worker specializing in event production, visual design, and music. With nearly a decade on the NYC club circuit, they’ve built a reputation as an adventurous selector with a wide-ranging ear.
They’ve performed at Boiler Room (not affiliated), Technofeminism, DWELLER Festival, HOOD RAVE (LA), and Moonshine (MTL), and appeared on NTS, Rinse FM, Foundation FM, Dublab and The Lot Radio. They’re also a resident at Ghana’s Oroko Radio. In NYC, they’ve played major venues including Nowadays, Elsewhere, Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring, and Jupiter Disco.
Beyond the decks, they’re one third of ABEG NYC and occasionally host the Brooklyn party CLUB DAX.
