cry$cross (Crystal Simone) is a New York–born experimental artist, DJ, and cultural worker whose creative practice seamlessly blends event production, visual design, and music production. With almost ten years commanding the NYC club circuit, they’ve established themself as an adventurous selector with a deep knowledge of the full spectrum of sound.
They’ve performed at iconic events and festivals including Boiler Room (not affiliated), Technofeminism, DWELLER Festival, HOOD RAVE (LA), and Moonshine (MTL), and have appeared on radio platforms such as NTS, Rinse FM, Foundation FM, and The Lot Radio. They are also a resident of Oroko Radio, based in Ghana. In New York, they’ve played at major venues including Nowadays, Elsewhere, Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring, Jupiter Disco, and many more.
With a professional’s touch and a deep love for music that always shines through, they’re one third of ABEG NYC, and occasionally host the Brooklyn party CLUB DAX.
